William Hill
In June 2010 William Hill were looking to enhance the retail experience and provide the customer with timely and relevant horse racing information, that was easily accessible and visible via the in shop screens.
The William Hill solution was to publish Racing Post Diomed comments for all the races taking place in the UK and Ireland throughout the flat and national hunt campaigns.
The comments were incorporated into the in shop screen presentation and provided the William Hill customers with a horse by horse summary on a race by race basis. The service is perfect for customers in hurry or those just looking to get a feel for the race contestants.
The customer feedback since launch has been hugely positive and the individual horse comments have become very much part of the William Hill race day service. The fact that these comments originate from the Racing Post give them not only credibility but backability
